Without Further Ado, I Present Your Weekly Horoscope! (loud applause/ screaming here)
Aries:
It may seem that other people are
impossible to work with. It may seem like they are in your business
and downright sneaky. While this may be true. It may also indicate
that this is a good time to apply a dose of patience. To slow down,
and make sure that you are succinctly, directly (and did I mention
softly and tactfully?) stating your needs and your boundaries. It
may also be an excellent time to practice threading needles, parallel
parking, dotting “i”s crossing “t”s and walking tight ropes.
Not because its easier right now, but a focus on slow calculated
cool precision will help with just about all that ails you. Avoid
the urge to simply run away and hide in an adventure, the best it
will do for you is teach you a lesson you already learned. And
speaking of cool, work on storing it up, by the end of the week you
may find you need the reserve!
Taurus:
This is a good week to slow down, and
deepen your relationships with the people that you work with, in
particular it is a good time to find and deepen bonds with your
mentor, and with those whom you mentor. It may be a bit of a challenge,
as working with anyone will require a great deal of patience, and in
fact there are no two ways about it, a lot of work. But if anyone is
up to the task it will be you oh gallant Tauran! Not only that, but there
is an incentive. This week opens with bubbling opportunities for joy
and beauty! What is the secret to fully unleashing them? You are
likely to find them at the intersection of your spiritual nature and
everything you learned you wanted for the world, from every hard
knock you ever took! Your Mantra? Joyful community opens the door to
personal gain... and possibly romance.
Gemini:
This week may open with an
uncharacteristic chink in your confidence armor. Something may seem
to be amiss. The tendency may be to run and hide, keep your secrets
close, smile big and throw a handful of glitter over the apparent
wound. (It hurts like hell, but at least its pretty right?) Fear
not my twinkling Gemini, your salvation lies in a grand cosmic
search, a spiritual quest if you will. The riddle your spiritual
sphinx has laid at your feet? How can I find spiritual joy in
material work? Here's a hint, follow the source of childhood pain,
to a solution that brings joy to others (and brings you healing)...
and yes you may throw glitter on it!
Cancer:
So, shocker here... you may feel stuck
in a rut. That discomforting urge to expand your horizons seems to be
clashing up against your tendency to think of yourself as a
predefined notion unchanging and timeless. Well guess what? While
the voice that says “I” is eternal, every voice changes over
time. Its a good thing. Seek yourself the mild discomfort that leads
to new vistas of perception (you know, growing pains) Try something
new and exciting, then try something else. With some time even you
dear Cancer may develop your latent desire for new things. Remember
Cancer's moon rules the sea, that can take you to far away new
experiences! This is just the week to begin such an odyssey!
Leo:
You may feel “alone in a crowd”
quite a bit this week. You may also experience a sort of stagnant sense that
nothing is happening fast enough. Its not so much that you lack
anything, but that you are dividing your energies among things that
don't deserve your attention. For you my dear Leo, it is a week of
sweat and toil. The trick? To be very clear about the choices you
make in what you are doing. This is a week to edit, and invest, and
most of all to labor... Relationships that perpetually don't give
back? Put them on the back burner. Projects that don't lead to a
place that makes your heart sing? Not this week. In the end the
point is this: Its gonna be work, so make sure its work well spent,
and you will celebrate that decision later. Sweeten the deal by
beginning plans for a vacation, planning it and setting aside the
money can be a task of devotional love of the self, and will make the
work pass so much more easily!
Virgo:
Social anxiety is probably riding a
little high right now. (Not that its ever riding that low typically)
Which is kind of an ironic shame because right underneath that
anxious fear is an exceptionally adventurous mood. Of course this
can make you more worried, further causing anxiety. And of course
the further frustration this causes can add to anxiety. Which of
course adds to your sense of inadequacy, which of course stresses you
out. This makes you wish you had the guts to take the adventure, but
then that just adds to the anxiety, and makes it harder to take
chances... On the other hand, you could find a dear friend, ask them
to decide on an adventure, make the decision to completely let go and
put it all in the hands of a trusted lover or loved one. Then you
could shut up and enjoy the ride. I vote for the second one! Whee!
Oh ya and expect the unexpected... its happening whether you like it
or not so best to jump on board so you don't burn a fuse!
Libra:
Its kind of a good time to reinvent the
way you deal with your family, and the public in general.
Starting with something as seemingly shallow as a good look at your
sense of style. This season I'm feeling like flash is out, and
simple elegant, functional, family and social focused are in!
Accessorize with just a touch of fantastic fairy-tale whimsy.
Sometimes by changing how you present yourself, you can reintroduce
yourself to a new part of you. Remember, if it ain't comfortable, it
just doesn't fit your life! Do all things gently right now. A sharp
tongue at this moment will do you more harm than the ones you loose
it upon!
Scorpio:
It's a really neat time to be a
Scorpio, if not a little unnerving. My advice? Try having fun for
the simple sake of having fun. Enjoy something that you can love
doing, but don't have to think a lot about. Deep is good, but right
now its a good chance to untie the knots, in your back and your
heart, and play “Marco-Polo” in the shallow end of the pool. You
have plenty of time to dig the marrow from the bone, this is a week
to eat candy. Oh and bring a little kid with you, they would be an
excellent tutor in a lesson of whimsy.
Sagittarius:
Let's just be fair and honest: Things
can't ever be as perfect as you seem to expect them at the moment.
This doesn't mean to stop shooting for the stars, but it does mean
letting up on yourself. Ease up and you will find that there is a
lot of happiness going on all around you that you are missing out on
because of ridiculous expectations! Your fortunes are better than
you think they are. Right now is not a time for little wins, any
frustrations you are experiencing are because you really need to be
focused on long-term, instead of short term small pay-offs.
Capricorn:
Oh Capricorn, oh Capricorn. How can I
ever do my job this week? You of all people can understand the
importance of work, and the joy of a job well done, of pragmatic
planning, and in fact of gritting your teeth and bearing the
difficulties to get where you need to go. With that in mind I need
to do something very hard. I must convince you to be a bit
optimistic, and to relax a bit this week. See the thing is with all
of your fabulous work and planning you stand to do very well, if you
can only believe in yourself enough to get out of your own way. And
if you can let go of your pessimism and perhaps cynicism enough to
allow yourself to enjoy it. Ya your right. It will never happen.

Aquarius:
This is a week to free associate, this
is a week to finger paint. This is a week for bold colors and yes
clashing patterns. This is not a week for editing, this is not a
week for rulers and straight lines. This is a week to let your focus
go fuzzy so you can see more than you expect. Let the editor come
back next week, it is a week for creation, and that means it is a
week to play with possibilities. If you go into the editing process
now you are likely to kill your best ideas. This is a week for play!
Pisces:
Pisces, this week keep it light. Keep
it pleasant. This is not a week to chase mythical dragons, but to
have a quite nice scone and chat over coffee. This is not a week to
be a princess in the tower, but perhaps to go dancing with a friend
from work and organize the garage. This is a good time to be social
but a bad time to be dramatic. It is a good time to get air and take
space, and be light. And have fun doing it!
