So as we continue to witness the birthing pangs of a new future to be through a reborn Uranus in Aries (representing the march of the future, a new openness, and notions of social liberty and equality) squaring off (in more ways than one) against Pluto in Capricorn (representing both corruption and power manipulations within the realm of politics, finance, commerce and the law) This is the main feature of the long term "big picture" landscape. Also there is a Jupiter in retrograde conjunct Lilith in Taurus. Here Jupiter questions and tries to redefine how we view the concepts of growth on all levels, and it is forced to deal with, or is stifled by Lilith's representation of all the dark realities we may try to hide from, and in Taurus it is about what we own. Literally it is the dark secrets of our material possessions, in the west it may mean the massive suffering due to the system of consumption we have historically profited from. It may be the cost of cheap petroleum in the human and environmental sense. It could even hint at the cost of protecting physical wealth at the expense of Liberties, in some ways the real inheritance or wealth our ancestors have bequeathed us.
Heavy stuff. Overwhelming stuff.
In the Meantime we find ourselves struggling in a vague esoteric mist, disquieting at times, certainly not easy to make direct sense out of. This configuration may illuminate feelings of being trapped, of longing for a more ideal world. The will to just escape may be the most prominent noticeable effect of this.
Daydreaming could be an issue, others may be tempted to turn to a bottle, or to a salesman religious or otherwise that promises easy answers. The trick is? This is not the sort of moment when quick escapes or easy answers are of much use (and in fact will probably turn out for the worst down the road.)
These are the moments for practical prayer:
Begin with a breath,
In Many ways you did,
Feel it flow in,
Flow out.
Notice how good it feels,
And what a blessing it is just to have it.
Say thanks.
Feel the ground beneath you,
solid stable, the food you ate,
say thanks again.
Think of, and name if you can, how many people came before you,
Your mother,
Your Father,
Your Fathers Father, His Mother,
Your Mother's Mother, Her Father,
Great Grandparents if you can,
Imagine their parents and their parents,
and imagine just how much work,
just how hard it was,
to keep going,
What an amazing feet it is that you were born at all.
Again Say thanks.
Then think of the wide world,
and all the time in it,
and all the possibilities it holds,
for yourself,
for those who come after you,
what an immense well-spring of possibility
Again Say Thanks.
Think of The universe stretching out to beyond our imaginings,
and finite space stretching down to the beyond infinitesimal,
And feel the wonder of it,
Once again, say thanks.
Finally put one foot in front of the other,
and do one small thing,
to make progress for your own good,
for the good of someone,
and do not judge it as anything less than a single accomplishment,
and feel how good it feels,
And once again
Say Thanks
