All the planets have something to say about power. Lets talk about a few planets that are speaking to power right now:
Venus speaks to power, in being desirable, and the way we know we are desired, and now, in Scorpio Venus can feel and enjoy being wanted, and being wanted is good, and knowing that we are lovable is all important, and in Scorpio we claim the power that comes from knowing we have a right to the power of our bodies of our emotions, and Venus is Sextil Pluto, meaning this understanding may grow from and influence that of Pluto at this time if we simply choose to use it.
Pluto Speaks to Power. Pluto speaks to power by uncovering the dark deals we make to give up our power in order to hide from our responsibilities. Pluto sets over the dark deals we make to get what we want when the consequences morally are questionable. It is about realizing how we enslave ourselves to authority and the big con. As our new era is one of Pluto in Capricorn the failures of the system, of commerce and the dark deals therein are up for display and is the matter at hand.
Pluto is Squared and therefore at odds with, building energy between and causing a conflict between (thus motivating us all) with Uranus
Uranus speaks to power demanding new rules, new reform, equality and the endless march forward. Uranus rises and shakes the ground beneath like it or no. Uranus is the creator of the new, instigator, and represents a great coming and a great revolution. Uranus in our Era sits in Aries which means that revolution is aggressive creative unwavering and passionate.
At the Same time the Sun speaks to power. The sun is our self identity, knowing who we are. In Libra we look to negotiation, to find balance to broker for the common good and to make smooth.
this is Sextil, and thus may grow and give growth to Mars
Mars Speaks to Power. Mars is how we pursue things, how we claim power and how we are motivated. Mars in Leo is confident and giving and full of swagger. From this sense of being entitled to a space on this earth and security in our ability to claim it we may give concession easily and find a place at the table for everyone.
Is this easy? If it were would we even need to speak on it. It is not easy, but it is very possible, and today is a good day to begin.
